I am your friendly neighbourhood librarian otherwise known as the fountain of all knowledge. I just
escaped graduated from university with my Masters in Library and Information Studies (which is a fancy way of saying, I know how to research and write papers). I have made it my life’s mission to find ways to do the most work with the least amount of effort, because who wants to spend all day inside writing papers? (See me for tricks I’ve learned over time!).
I have also spent the last 6 years working in libraries, first at the University of Alberta, and then with the Edmonton Public Library. My favourite part of my job is planning programs and I look forward to hosting each event. Something will be happening every Wednesday and one Saturday a month, so look out for those events!
I love reading (try to contain your gasps of shock at that surprising revelation) and definitely don’t spend too much time on Netflix. Currently I am reading, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and Gris Grimly's Frankenstein graphic novel. I am also watching Attack on Titan and Downton Abbey.
I am looking forward to this year, getting to know everyone, and having a blast at the library programs.
